A springtime miracle!
After much huffing and puffing, packing and hacking (George has a bit of a cough), they are off. My lovely hubby and our four middle kids, leaving me home today with just our little one. (the high schooler arrives home at 3) This could be considered a miracle in its own right, however yet another amazing event occurred. I decided to remedy my nasty naked toes and get a pedicure and take baby P with me in the hopes she would sleep in her car seat. And the miracle is: she did just that! Ok, I know that other peoples babies do that all the time -- what's so miraculous about that, you ask? It is simply this: our babies don't sleep in their car seats, they scream. So we have learned to leave that silly seat in the car and carry the little screamer sans seat. It is usually much quieter. So not only did our little screamer sleep blissfully through my heavenly pedicure, she slept on while I ran another errand and got the car washed. It was almost two hours she slept in the car seat.... MIRACULOUS! And boy am I grateful! I even took a photo to prove it:
